Hi, I received my replacement Robovero today. I connected the mini USB to the PC, and a solid green light came on. I plugged in the adapter from Gumstix, 5v 3.5A Center positive, and a red light started blinking. Good so far I think... Then I touch IC6 ant it is painfully hot. This is just like the last board I had. Can the folks at Gumstix comment if this is normal, and what the function of IC6 is, and ideally why it is so hot? Misc details: The board WITHOUT a Gumstix mounted is pulling 2W solid once I apply power. I haven't let it have power for more than 10 seconds given the heat on IC6. Thanks, Roger |
