I've got a USB webcam working on my overo, but currently, any attempts to stream video from it are unsuccessful. I've been playing around with command lines but to no avail. The command line below works fine on my Fedora 14/15 box, streaming to another host, but the same command line never works on my overo. I did build my vlc custom, using the vlc recipe in org.openembedded.org/, but tweaked to add libdvbpsi, so I can do a TS stream. What command lines have others used to get this to work? Note, that streaming to a file works fine, so the camera works. cvlc -vvv v4l2:// :v4l2-dev="/dev/video0" --sout '#transcode{vcodec=h264,vb=800,scale=1,acodec=none}:http{mux=ts,dst=:8080/}' :no-sout-rtp-sap :no-sout-standard-sap :ttl=1 :sout-keep |
