Hey Enrico, thanks! I figured that out in the mean time. I wrote a little c programm that allows me to set the mode and it seems like, as you say, that i must extend it to constantly poll the output of the gumstix. But where do you think i will have to set the properties for the serial connection? In the c code, in the windows properties...? Once it comes to transmitting a file, this might become a quite risky adventure, no?!?
