Hi List, :-) I'm playing around for quite a while with the overo-board now and still couldn't get one thing to work, which i need. As you know, the overo-board boots from an inserted microSD-card by default. I have to boot it from the internal NAND flash, even if a microSD-card is inserted (and cannot be removed). The best-fitting command for this would be "nboot - boot from NAND device", which results in the error "** No boot device **". "boot" and "bootd" both are booting from the microSD-card. When i do "nboot --help", an optional parameter "partition" might also be interesting, but i do not know what to enter there, because the JFFS filesystem in the monitor is not working, or may not be needed (no idea..). I tried some values, starting from 0 to some imaginary paths. Didn't work. So, does anyone know how to boot the factory default Angstrom-Linux on the NAND-Flash via the monitor, even if a microSD-card is inserted? thanks, Daniel :-) PS: yes, the board boots from nand-flash when i remove the microSD-card, so the factory image isn't damaged. |
