Ok. Thanks. That helps. That is all that I understood in these 2 days :) . I meant the temporary files that Benny mentioned. Between, I had posted a newbie question which is still not accepted in the forums. I am pasting it here. It would be great if you have some pointers. 1) I have flashed the Nand using a pre-built image that I downloaded. I am referring to http://www.gumstix.net/Setup-and-Programming/view/Overo-Setup-and-Programming/Writing-images-to-onboard-nand/111.html. I could flash it. Now after I have build my file system image, I wish to flash the new image. In the .../images/overo folder I see omap3-console-image-overo.tar.bz2, uImage-2.6.33-r80-overo.bin, uImage-overo.bin. Out of the two uImage-* files which is the one that I need ( according to my reference link) and where is the new u-boot file created? 2) I created a new .ipk for hellogumstix (reference: http://www.gumstix.net/Setup-and-Programming/view/Build-system-overview/Hello-world-tutorial/111.html) I transferred the .ipk to the gumstix overo using sdcard. When I try to install it, I am getting the following errors: ( i am using the latest pre-built image for this) root@overo:/my_code# opkg install hellogumstix_1.0.0-r0.5_armv7a.ipk Installing hellogumstix (1.0.0-r0.5) to root...
