I was able to successfully compile and boot the kernel, but for some reason my screen won't show anything at all(ie. stays white). Note that this is not a hardware issue as booting a prebuilt image and kernel in a microSD card(2.6.33) will work without problems. Xorg comes up and doesn't seem to have errors. ts_test doesn't work either. I have the OMAP3 DSS drivers compiled as builtin. The only thing that seems wrong is the fact that, in the Xorg log, the omapfb driver says that the VRAM is 512 KiB, even though I have "vram=32M" in my kernel command line. omapfb says that VRAM is 8192 KiB on the 2.6.33 prebuilt kernel in my microSD. I installed the 2.6.34 modules by extracting them on my root, and it seems to have worked as my touchscreen works(as reported by ts_test), as well as my WLAN. Both drivers were compiled as modules. The boot log says that I am really booting 2.6.34 from NAND. |
