Hi Krishna, As a matter of fact, I am seeing this same problem on a gumstix overo. I do not think that it is because i2c3 is not working however, as I am able to at least get EREMOTEIO returned from i2c3 reads. I am using the ISP and OMAP34xcam drivers as well. I probed for XCLK on my camera card and it is not present. For my sensor XCLK is needed before the sensor can even process any I2C commands, as it uses XCLK for its internal PLL which generates another clock used for processing i2c commands. So there is my tip. If are able to get i2c3 working, please shoot me back a quick email outlining the steps you took, and I will do the same. As for how to build kdb I do not know, and I am probably not going to go this route for debugging. I found that the omap processor is not talking to the sensor as the i2c3 is not working. I put some printk statements to debug the problem with i2c3. I would like to debug using kernel debugger, and can not find a way to build the kdb to use it for debugging. Does anyone else seen this problem with i2c3 for camera interface? Any help on how to build for kdb is greatly appreciated.
