So I removed IC7 too, and the COM still had a very small bend, which is probably within manufacturing tolerances when you try to align two pairs of connectors. But I just checked a Summit (which still has IC7), and indeed the connector is maybe not perfectly seated in the upper-left corner. I probably would not have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it. Screws would probably hide this, without even tightening them. I'd like to know if it's safe to remove or reposition C115, though. Pascal |
