I'm doing a very simple ipkg update on a newly flashed OE connex. I've done this before on an old build without a problem....but all of a sudden the base file which is being downloaded and extracted is HUGE: root@gumstix-custom-connex:~$ ls -lF /media/card/ipkg_tmp/ -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 206503936 Apr 24 08:19 base <snip> ...and it didn't even finished...I killed after it sucked up half of my mmc card space. I don't know exactly what it's trying to do, but manually downloading and unpacking the same file from my computer yielded a file just under 4Mb Any clues?
