Hi there! Another gumstix users having a few teething problems. I received my gumstix package the other day (Verdex XL6P, Console-VX-LCD, Netwifi-MicroSD-vx, Samsung display). I managed to get the display working after a day when I realized it wasn't in the right way around (I presumed the gold connectors should face downwards, doh). Anyway the problem I'm having is with the Netwifi-MicroSD card, it just doesn't want to do anything. The board powers up (the orange light turns on and stays on), I get these related message below on boot up. (separated by a line as they appear at different stages of the boot up. <3>gumstix_smc91x_init: smc91x chip not found, returning -ENXIO <4> Intel/Sharp Extended Query Table at 0x010Apped pr <4>smc91x: Unknown symbol gumstix_smc91x_loadtel/Sharp Extended Query Table at 0x010A <3>Invalid chip endian 0x0887614321Stopp <4> Intel/Sharp Extended Quer <4>smc911x: not found (-19). <4>Not netCF-vx board: using newer GPIO configurationister driver <3>gumstix_smc91 <4>smc911x: n I've tried compiling my own image using OE bitbake gumstix-basic-image, directfb image and a prebuilt qtopia-gui image from gumstix.net. None will allow me to do anything with the netwifi. I'm a long time linux user but don't have a ton of experience troubleshooting this kind of thing. Needless to say the board shouldn't be damaged, all steps to flash the device were followed perfectly and the boards seem to be connected properly. Would really appreciate the help on this, I don't seem to be getting anywhere with this and it's really getting stressful :) Cheers!
