Hi there. I'm currently working with a robotics wifi pack which consists of:: - verdex XM4 - robostix - netwifi-microSD - tweener - ...and accessories... I built a basic image with the new stuff (openembedded, bitbake, and so on...), got the network working with a small wireless router and can access the verdex+netwifi device over ssh through the LAN or WLAN. Fine! Now the robostix: I soldered a pull-up at the pin 4 of the gumstix connector so that I can work without tweener (tweener and netwifi are not happy together). I can now startup the verdex+netwifi+robostix device (before, it could not start) and access to root@gumstix-custom-verdex over ssh. My goal is to get some data from PortC, to pack them and to send them to the network... and vice versa. So, how can I read/write to the ATmega from the linux console to set the port direction and needed registers and then send/receive data on PortC? Do I need to develop separately with avr-gcc and an ISP? Even in this case, I will have to communicate once to transfer the PortC data to the network stack... I've already made several developments on microcontrollers but I'm quite new with linux stuff... so please set the focus on this part. Thank you in advance. Regards, Sebastien |
