Hi, I would like to be able to read and write to a i2c compatible digital poten= tiometer: http://www.analog.com/en/prod/0,,761_797_AD5247,00.html using c program on gumstix basix. My buildroot version is 1161. I have look= ed at some of the examples on the wiki and managed to load the i2c modules.= The i2c device that I am trying to read has one register. I think in orde= r to read or write data to it, I just need the slave address byte as oppose= d to slave address byte and command byte. How can I solve this. I am not a = software programmer. So, please understand if this is a stupid question. thanks=20 Teboho --=20 This message is subject to the CSIR's copyright terms and conditions, e-mai= l legal notice, and implemented Open Document Format (ODF) standard.=20 The full disclaimer details can be found at http://www.csir.co.za/disclaime= r.html.
