I thought that the environment variables are separate from the uboot. I read here: http://docwiki.gumstix.org/Uboot#An_overview_of_flash that it is separate, which would make perfect sense as to why the reflash didn't work. I know I don't have a bad daughtercard because I changed the environment variable and then told uboot to restart my gumstix at which nothing came through either of the serial ports. I'm just trying to get my board fixed because I really don't want to spend money on a new one if I don't have to. The u-boot environment variable ARE located in the same pages as u-boot. So if it was reflashed and you're still not seeing any output, then you may have a bad daughtercard/serial cable, etc, or the reflash may not have actually worked. -- Dave Hylands Vancouver, BC, Canada http://www.DaveHylands.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
