It sure would help me out, I'm trying to build a buildroot which is currently too big for the standard 4mb (so far I've only added perl and gpsd). I knew I should have gotten a board with mmc support. I have a connex 400 with a waysmall and cfstix only. Someone else had also mentioned to me that I might be able to seperate the larger parts of the filesystem onto the CF and keep the kernel on the onboard, I couldnt see an easy way to do this though as the fs is a single image, could this be possible? -Jon Craig Hughes wrote: > I was just finishing off working on something else, and wondering what > was next up -- pinit in u-boot sounds like a good option. > > C > > On Mar 3, 2006, at 11:50 AM, Jon Keller wrote: > >> After searching the archives a bit I see that cf is currently not >> supported in u-boot but is being worked on, is there any update as to >> when this might be available? >> -Jon >> >> Jon Keller wrote: >>> Hello list, >>> >>> I was wondering if its possible to load and run the root filesystem >>> for the gumstix from a compact flash card using the cfstix?
