For the kernel messages, you can change the u-boot "bootargs"
variable to set console to something other than /dev/ttyS0
For u-boot messages, you'll need to set the "silent" u-boot variable,
or else redirect the u-boot console by setting the stdout/stderr
variables. There are more details on silent booting in the u-boot docs.
