I am trying to communicate with the Wacom tablet using their eval board.
I am trying to use ttyS2 to communicate with the wacom tablet but after
setting up the port using :
echo "AF2 in" > /proc/gpio/GPIO46
echo "AF1 out" > /proc/gpio/GPIO47
stty -ixon clocal cs8 -parenb -cstopb -crtscts -echo -F /dev/ttyS2
stty -F /dev/ttyS2 speed 19200
Then I use:
echo "1" > /dev/ttyS2
I get nothing from the tablet.=20
Does anybody have any ideas about how to get this port working correctly
with the wacom tablet?

The gumstix serial driver closes and disables the serial port when
it's done writing to it, not when it's done sending the data.

Mentioning that reminds me that I have kermit on my gumstix, since I'm
using the gumstix to connect to serial consoles on other boards.
As was noted to me, building it was fairly easy, and is probably a
good way to debug any text-oriented serial link.
