"bitbake -c compiler -f path/to/file"
'compiler' is not a valid task, use bitbake -c listtasks <target> to get
an overview of tasks for the target. Also you need to use -b if you pass
in a patch to a recipe. So I guess you want:
bitbake -c compile -f -b path/to/recipe.bb
"bitbake -c rebuild linux-omap3-2.6.29"
If you want to package something up you do 'bitbake linux-omap3-2.6.29
-c package_write -f' or 'bitbake linux-omap3-2.6.29 -c deploy -f'
depending on your need. Either way, bumping PR will get you there faster
"ipkg -force-reinstall install linux-omap3-2.6.29"
I don't know who came up with that one, but it's completely bogus:
* ipkg is dead, it's opkg now
* neither *can* be used to circumvent not bumping PR. opkg works on
packages, not recipes.
