Actually, I found out hyperterminal (XP Version) also automatigically
launches rz too.
So all you need to do is "Send File" with zmodem and the file will be
deposited in the current working directory on the gumstix.

I have problems for transferring file TO the gumstix via a serial port(under
I tried kermit and minicom and I can easily transfer FROM the gumstix
but the opposite doesn't work
Does anyone have the same problem?

What sort of problems are you having? Aside from the slowness of the
serial connection, I've been able to do both directions with Kermit from
Gentoo Linux to a Waysmall.
Kermit is a finicky beast, but very well documented. There's an
excellent book on the subject.
