You need to connect the robostix serial port to your PC and use a
terminal program, or you can connect the robostix serial port to a
gumstix serial port.
For example, the same jumpers that are used to program the robostix
from the gumstix:
<http://docswiki.gumstix.com/Robostix_gumstix_ISP> connect UART-0 on
the robostix to STUART on the gumstix.
I then run serial-log or sertest on the gumstix to see the output.
Programs like Flash-LED output stuff at 38400 baud.
sertest and serial-log are both in the robostix tree.

sertest is more like a super-tiny minicom. serial-log only logs data,
it won;t let you send stuff to the robostix.
