How can I connect my digital sound signal to a Verdex motherboard?
I prefer not to use the audiostix 2 expansion board, but if it is the only
way, what kind of ADC's do the audiostix 2 has? (I need to know if their
characteristics fit my needs)

What format is the digital sound signal in?
Read the datasheets on the UCB1400 to find out about the ADC's.
The UCB1400 uses an AC97 digital interface, which is directly
supported by the verdex. If your digital sound signal is compatible
with the AC97 interface, then you can connect it up to that.

Thanks a lot for everything.
I just read the philips UCB1400 sheet and the AC97 characteristics.
Audiostix 2 it's even more than what I need :-)
Thank you again.
