the readline module is disabled for Python in the build root. I enabled it and selected the readline package as well but I still get an error when trying to import readline in python. I looked and the shareed library doesn't seem to be getting copied in to the target, has anyone had any experience getting readline to work with python? I had the same problem. I could never get the python config script to include readline. But I was able to rebuild the readline module as a plugin extenstion. Just copy the sources from the python source tree into seperate directory and build it like a c-extension module. Then put the .so into the site-packages directory. Python will find it when it loads and use it like normal even though it wasn't compiled with it. -Chad On Nov 8, 2007 9:01 PM, pvm <pvm...@gm...> wrote: > > the readline module is disabled for Python in the build root.
