Hello, first of all sorry for any faults in my english.
I'm trying to connect a SCP1000 pressure sensor to the Overo (Tobi expasion board).
I have found some examples of drivers but i still have a lot of doubts.
Many drivers examples come with two .c, one they call controller driver and other protocol driver, if i have understood the controller driver is a kernel module.
How can i compile this kernel module for my Overo? Can this be done in the Overo it-self?
If not how can i compile it in the building machine?
It is not possible to do the communication with the sensor whithout writing a kernel module?
If anyone have sucessfully done something like i've described, could explain here.

For interfacing a sensor like this I think I would look at using SPIDEV for
easy accessing the SPI bus from user-land.
Remember that the SPI bus on OMAP is 1V8, It seems that the SCP1000 is a
2V5-3V3 device => You need a level shifter on the SPI lines
