Yes, it should be easy. The tricky part though will be continuing to
ping it frequently enough to not reset if the gumstix is *not*
crashing, but just taking a while to boot (eg scanning JFFS2 or
something). I think the RT linux extensions sped up the time-to-init
pretty considerably, but you'd need to be careful about how you set
your timeout when starting the timer in u-boot.
