I am working on Overo Fire with Palo35 expansion board.
I got a problem
when I tried to measure the power consumption of the whole board.
I connected my ammeter serially in the power cord, but
the machine could not boot. I guess reason was
that the impedance of the ammeter itself
is non-ignorable compared to the impedance of the board. It draws the
input ampere. So my question is what should I do if i want to measure
the ampere and voltage?
BTW, there is a video online called "disabling the Wifi on the Gumstix Overo
Fire" where they measured the ampere and voltage. Is there
anyone who can tell me how they did that?
I would be very appreciated if anyone can help me or
give me any suggestions. Thank you.
