I have been trying to clone the OE tree for a few hours now and keep getting this failure: vdubhack@UAV:~/overo-oe$ git clone git://gitorious.org/gumstix-oe/mainline.git org.openembedded.dev Initialized empty Git repository in /home/vdubhack/overo-oe/org.openembedded.dev/.git/ remote: Counting objects: 364494, done. fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly fatal: early EOF fatal: index-pack failed Setting up a new build machine with Ubuntu 10.04, any one have any ideas? Thanks |

I saw similar behavior a few days ago. My hypothesis (pulled out of the air) was that Gitorious made some policy decision that the pack would be too big to bother with. I was able to work around it by cloning the upstream openembedded.org tree directly, then adding a second remote for the gumstix-oe/mainline.git repository. Michael Poole |

Both gitorious and upstream OE have been having server issues over the past couple of days. Both seem to be back up this morning. Steve |
