>From what I have seen, and what I have struggled to look for, I suggest
the information should be organized like this:
Intro to Gumstix - Basic information to answer the many "What
should I buy" questions. What cards connect to what, cross-compatibility
chart of some sort. Functional descriptions (Or enhance the Gumstix.com
site to include some of these specifics since it appears incomplete IE:
Audiostix II on gumstix.com does not mention all the features.)
Hardware Information/Specifications - Listing of hardware
Tutorials - Setting up Buildroot, and other such basic stuff,
all the Intro stuff, connecting, programming.. blah blah
System Specifics - Listing of subsystems such as Displays, I2C,
Touch Screens, Kernel modifications, Various other topics that are hit
over and over. Possibly break this down by interface type, be it
internal subsystem, or an actual Real World interface like I2C.
That is my two cents. Hehe.=20

Subject: [Gumstix-users] Wiki Weekend
As per the original suggestion, I think this weekend would be a good =20
time to focus on docs stuff, in particular in porting stuff from the =20
old wiki to the new one. I think all the infrastructure stuff is now =20
in place, and we just need a concerted effort to bring all the =20
information over, so we can shoot the old site and put it out of its =20
Don and I will handle the FAQ stuff -- I'll write a script to bring =20
all the old stuff over, then we'll prune.
For the main pages, I still think I'll write a bring-over script, =20
which won't be in super great shape, but I'll bring all pages over as =20
old_Pagename and stick them all in [[Category:Old]] so that they can =20
be iterated through to bring the information into the new wiki.
Any thoughts from folks on a high-level tree (or web) for the way =20
things should be organized on the new site?
PS I'm working on generating a graph of the current wiki layout, =20
which may help in re-org, by using perl's WWW::Mechanize in combo =20
with graphviz. Hopefully it won't be too cluttered to see anything =20
useful. I'll post a URL for the graph here once it's ready.
