Thanks for the information. I think I'll try running blackbox as my window manager...if I need one at all. Since the GPSstix has a usb adapter onboard, and the verdex motherboards support usb host, I don't think I'll need to get two cards. (Storage was going to be a major issue for me)
Another question - is the host/client USB automatically switching?

You can connect a 60-pin board and a 120-pin board to the verdex.
Currently, none of the 120 pin boards are available, but I believe
they will be soon.
You don't reeally need to use a break-gs with the gpsstix. The gpsstix
exposes almost the same set of pins as the breakout-gs.
