I reported an issue not too long ago about the serial cable. My Gumstix now seems to be powering up (the green light glows) but there is no output on the terminal screen. Please remember I only have a null modem cable. Is there anything I am doing wrong. Devraj -- Devraj Mukherjee (de...@et...) Eternity Technologies Pty. Ltd. Devraj, are you following the instructions on the Getting Started page? If so, at which step do things diverge? http://www.gumstix.org/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=Getting+Started C On Mar 29, 2005, at 3:08 AM, Devraj Mukherjee wrote: > I reported an issue not too long ago about the serial cable. Hi Craig, I followed the instructions and it does not provide me with a display on Hyperterminal. The green light is however on. I am now trying the networking over USB and the Gumstix seems to be responding except I have a few issues with the IP address that its taking up. It probably means that the cable is faulty. I suggest you guys should give a null modem cable with the Waysmalls :-) Devraj Craig Hughes wrote: > Devraj, are you following the instructions on the Getting Started page? > If so, at which step do things diverge? > > http://www.gumstix.org/tikiwiki/tiki-index.php?page=Getting+Started > > C > > On Mar 29, 2005, at 3:08 AM, Devraj Mukherjee wrote: > >> I reported an issue not too long ago about the serial cable.
