How do I transfer files to the gumstix from a host computer? I have
followed the instructions located here:
I have started rz on the gumstix, then I went to the directory that
contained the file that I wanted to transfer and typed sz <filename>.
Unfortunately, I cannot find the file that I transferred.
What's the best method for transferring programs that I write and compile
on my host machine to the gumstix?

Using scp is an easy way to copy files to your gumsitx -- if you have
the waysmall expansion board. First you should connect the gumstix to
your Linux machine with the usb and serial cables. Then open up a
shell through your serial connection. You should then be able to set
up networking over the usb connection by typing:
gumstix# ifconfig usb0 10.0.0.1 (or some other address not being used
in your network)
linux-box# ifconfig usb0 10.0.0.2
linux-box# scp my/file root@...:/target/directory
