I recently upgraded from the "buildroot" environment to OE (and it's
newer bluez distro (i.e. 3.24)) and now I am no longer able to get my
piconet configured so that it supports PAN connections between the
bluetooth master and multiple bluetooth slave devices. I am using
Connex 400xm-bt motherboards.
For my setup I need a piconet that uses the Bluetooth PAN/BNEP services
with the following characteristics:
* One bluetooth device is the piconet master. This device plays
the role of NAP in the PAN.
* 3 or 4 additional bluetooth devices are slaves in the piconet
and each plays the role of a PANU in the PAN.
* A PAN/BNEP connection is required between the master and each of
the slaves in order to support the usual networking services (i.e. ssh,
I have searched the 'gumstix-users' email archives and I have studied
the various HOWTO's on the gumstix wiki. The most relavent document
seems to be the "Category:How to - bluetooth" wiki doc
So, using this document I have installed all of the necessary s/w
packages and I have modified all of the necessary "etc" config. files
for PAN accordingly. But I can only ever get one PAN connection
Anybody out there have any helpful suggestions?
