The first netmicrosd we purchased was faulty but we eventually received
a replacement and it worked. However, we started to experience
intermittent connectivity problems with the ethernet port last week and
now it is almost impossible to establish a connection. Sometimes we get
lucky when wiggling the cat5 cable inside the ethernet port but there
seems to be a hardware fault.
We have tried heating the pins on the ethernet connector and adding more
solder in case there was a dry joint, but the problem persists. Is there
a known issue with the boards that could cause this problem and if so is
there a way to fix it? We need the board for a final bench inspection on
Wednesday so there is no time to wait for another replacement.
