If you search the mailing list archives, you will find this is a
recurring problem. It gets discussed more often as "duplicate MAC"
since that's how the problem bites you.
You change the serial # in U-Boot:
GUM> setenv serial# 05CFA0BBD2117F4D
Saving Environment to Flash...
Un-Protected 1 sectors
Erased 1 sectors
Writing to Flash... done
Protected 1 sectors
