Is it possible to assign a static IP address to the USBNet configuration for the Gumstix? Or does it require a DHCP connection. Devraj -- Devraj Mukherjee (de...@et...) Eternity Technologies Pty. Hello ! sources/target_skeleton/ ...? $-} oups !... I'm currently modifying the files in build_arm/root/ and it works ! what is the difference ? For the "interfaces" file, make attention to white spaces before each line, mine had multiples separators and it didn't work. But it works well ! (not really fast, must even faster than serial connection) On Thu, 31 Mar 2005 09:12:54 +0100, Dave Smith <da...@sm...> wrote: > Devraj Mukherjee wrote: > > Is it possible to assign a static IP address to the USBNet configuration > > for the Gumstix? The stuff in source/target_skeleton gets copied into build_arm/root=20 before the rest of the stuff from the individual packages goes in. It=20= actually won't notice changes to sources/target_skeleton, so if you do=20= incremental builds, you have to copy the changes over -- but if you are=20= in the habit of occasionally doing an "rm -rf build_arm tool*" before=20 re-making from scratch, then changes in sources/target_skeleton will=20 survive.
