I have been studying the different power modes of a Verdex XM4 (with a
netCF-vx) and have noticed some odd behaviour.
If I run the system at full CPU speed (530Mhz) with the ethernet
disabled, the system draws approximately 55mA at 5v (when idle). If I
then put the system in "suspend to RAM" mode, the current *increases*
to 66mA. If I put the system in "standby" mode, the current decreases
Standby mode seems to behave properly but there is something clearly
wrong with "suspend to RAM". Has anyone else noticed this?
Also, I still cannot get the RTC to wake the CPU from either "standby"
or "suspend to RAM". I am setting the WERTC bit in the PWER register
before putting the CPU to sleep so it should work. Has anyone been
able to use the RTC to wake the CPU?
