I'm using an Overo Fire on a Tobi expansion board and want to use the
current kernel linaro-2.6.38 as it includes many nice features like the PM
extensions and the already included DSPbridge in the staging section.
Since I tried using version linaro-2.6.38.x I don't see boot messages
anymore. Booting stops at:
Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel.
I've already configured my kernel with the following line
CONFIG_CMDLINE="root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 rootwait console=ttyO2,115200"
and also updated my u-boot variable
With version linaro-2.6.35, there was no such problem (using ttyS2 instead).
I attached my http://old.nabble.com/file/p31645620/config-linaro-2.6.38
current kernel config and my
http://old.nabble.com/file/p31645620/bootlog.txt u-boot variables with a
boot log . This problem is driving me crazy atm...
Any help is much appreciated!

Are you seeing these same problems with the latest binaries from
Linaro? These are booting okay for me (with ttyO2) but they are
getting ready for release so it is a good time to get any last bugs
