With respect to subject, our Gumstix Overo-based 'device' will carry a USB
Mini-B device, with the following connections, and I'm looking for some
clarification on our intended configuration, as follows:
Mini-B, Pin 3 ... USB Data Hi (USBOTG_DP, Overo J1-36)
Mini-B, Pin 2 ... USB Data Lo (USBOTG_DM, Overo J1-37)
Mini-B, Pin 5 ... USB GND
Unused Mini-B pins ...
Mini-B, Pin 1 ... Power (+5V)
Mini-B, Pin 4 ... no connect
Unused Overo pins ...
USBOTG_VBUS (Overo J1-54)
USBOTG_ID (Overo J1-46)
Q's: (1) We're looking to isolate VBUS ... should this work? (2) How is
the ID function used ... or, is it required?
Thanks for your assistance.
