Hi, I'm trying to make my first build, following the instructions from:
After I write this command:
$ bitbake gumstix-basic-image
I get the following list of errors:

Is there an obvious problem with this procedure or am missing anything here

Ran into that issue on my build setup as well - different package, same
issue - manually installing the missing package resolved the issue for me.
