I am trying to follow this post to replace the filesystem on verdex, u-boot 1.2.0 http://docwiki.gumstix.org/Replacing_the_filesystem_image#Flashing_from_MMC but after I typed in "mmc" in GUM>, it shows unrecognized CSD structure version 0 I am using the ethernet and microSD expansion board and copied the jffs2 file to the microSD card in Ubuntu. If you have a verdex/microSD, you want to use these instructions instead: http://www.gumstix.net/Software/view/Developer-how-to-s/Reflashing-using-a-serial-connection-and-an-MMC/SD/microSD-card/111.html At least this is what worked for me after I re-built the image with oe. Having different versions of howtos on different sites is confusing! I tried that before. This link asks GUM> mmcinit where I failed I think. How can I know if the gumstix recognizes the microSD card on the expension board?
