OK, so I am trying something different in regards to login via
Bluetooth. Now, I am trying to establish a network between my linux box
and the Gumstix so I can use SSH and SCP. I'm trying to set the 'stix
as a PANU node and my linux box as a NAP node. So, I set up the bnep
interface on my linux box and the 'stix using static IP addresses. On
the 'stix, I then run pand --connect <btAddr> with no problems. At this
stage, I can now have the 'stix and my linux box ping each other, and I
can run SCP. However, after some random length of time, on the Gumstix,
I start getting error messages like:
hci_acl_tx_to: hci0 ACL tx timeout
hci_acl_tx_to: hci0 killing stalled ACL connection 9A:11:47:76:0C:00
I saw in the archives that this problem existed before r234 was released
(which is the kernel I am using). Has anyone else had this problem with
the new kernel? Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Can you do some kind of HCI trace (of all data send to Bluetooth module and
coming back) ?
I have no gumstix yet, but on desktop there is a programm called hcidump for
If no available, perhaps you can dump directly in Bluetooth part (BlueZ ?).
