Larry, with # vi /etc/network/interfaces you can change the eth0 lines to something like: auto eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.10.99 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.10.1 and with # /etc/init.d/S40network restart you should get the lights going. Hope this helps. ----- Original Message ---- From: Larry Stewart-Zerba <lar...@gm...> To: gum...@li... Hello, I recently purchased a netstix 400xm-cf, and I have not had any luck in getting it to work. When the netstix is powered up and connected to my router, no activity (the leds on the router are not lit up) shows up on the router for the netstix. I have also tried setting up a DHCP server on my linux box with debug enable, then power up the the netstix, but there was no request from the device for IP. Any suggestions are welcomed. Gert Hi, Thanks for the reply. Sorry I forgot to mention that with the netstix 400xm-cf computer it only has an ethernet port for access, there is not a serial or usb port, thus I cannot edit or access any files on the device. Or I could be missing something with your suggestion. Again, thanks for your help, and any further help from yourself or anyone else would be greatly appreciated.
