Dave, I'm not using a tsc2003. I only have the ads7828 on the bus and may be another chip inside the verdex.
At the moment is really difficult to me to change the connection of A0 and A1, Is there another thing to try?

You'll have to use A0/A1 not equal to 0 0 in order to not have 2
devices on the i2c bus with the same address.
