I'm trying to boot my new Overo Earth module with the Palo43 expansion board, and I simply can't seem to get the DSS to accept my boot arguments about display resolution - it always seems to go into 640x480 mode.† I'm using the binaries from here: http://www.gumstix.net/overo-gm-images/v0.92/.

I put the MLO, u-boot.bin and uImage on the FAT32 partition (in that order) and untarred the image in the ext3 dir.† I've tried both the console image and the palmtop image.

The commands I give to u-boot are as follows:

The kernel is generally working.† After booting, (with palmtop) I get a palm desktop with working icons.† The touchscreen calibration works, except that I can't reach 3 of the 5 crosshairs due to the display resolution problems.

Can anybody suggest the right way to set the resolution?†
