2 different Windows 7 machines (32 and 64 bit) and Ubuntu 11.10 although Ubuntu is running under VirtualBox on a Mac. I can try and setup a normal Ubuntu install and see what difference it makes.

If I can connect to the overo on the robovero using Ubuntu on VirtualBox should it not also work with the overo removed?
