Hi,

has anyone used net-snmp with an Overo?

I managed to install net-snmp_5.7.1.bb, although I had to change EXTENDPV for EXTENDPKGV in the net-snmp.inc. But either using that or installing it with opkg from http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/feeds/v2012.12/ipk/eglibc/armv7a-vfp-neon/base/ I have this problem:

# systemctl start snmpd.service
Job for snmpd.service failed. See 'systemctl status snmpd.service' and 'journalctl -n' for details.
and the journalctl -n output is
Sep 05 06:33:08 CS ntpd[181]: Listen normally on 5 eth0 XX.XX.XX.XX UDP 123
Sep 05 06:33:08 CS ntpd[181]: peers refreshed

same problem when I run
#snmpd
pcilib: Cannot open /proc/bus/pci
pcilib: Cannot find any working access method.

I don't know why is trying to open /proc/bus/pci but it doesn't exist in my sysroot. Any advice please?

Thank you,
Katu
