Hi David,

Have a look at this article in the Gumstix Wiki.

In particular, you might want to change the driver module settings for auto gain, exposure, and low light.

# insmod /lib/modules/2.6.34/kernel/drivers/media/video/mt9v032.ko auto_exp=0 auto_gain=0 low_light=1

Hi all,

I'm having trouble with my Caspa image board where sometimes it keeps
resetting. It seems to be having trouble adjusting to lighting conditions I
believe. Here is a video to illustrate the problem.

In the video I am streaming from my Gumstix to a an Android app, but I know
the problem is with the Caspa board itself and not the stream, because the
red LED on the Caspa blinks every time the image goes black. Sometimes its
fine, and sometimes it does the blinking, and again I'm certain the issue
has to do with the Caspa tying to adjust to the lighting.

I haven't really played around with any settings, and don't exactly know
where to look into either, all I've done on the Gumstix side is built a
linux-omap3-2.6.34-caspapx image and stream the video over RTP using

Hopefully someone has seen this before and knows what to do, or at least can
direct me towards what I need to be looking into to fix the issue.

Thanks in advance!
