Yes, the TI DSP stuff is not included by default. 

Check out this link

to get all the TI stuff compiled that allows you to use the DSP.  There are also links to two image .bb recipes that include everything you need for the DSP and should be a good starting point.

Regarding the DSP, I am using Overo Water which has the OpenGl and
DSP! should I still add it to my image recipe?
