Zafrullah,

Assuming that you have built the gumstix-console-image with yocto, I'm not sure if there are other methods, why not just try the yocto way of running the built image on qemu..???
Now before getting into the problems of this (  http://wiki.gumstix.org/index.php?title=Gumstix_Emulation_for_QEMU ) method, try the yocto method first and see what happens..!

First set your variable in build/conf/local.conf as MACHINE ?= "qemuarm"
then do a full build with bitbake gumstix-console-image
after a successful build just run "runqemu qemuarm", type the password when prompted for..!

This is simple..!! :)

I hope this is what you were looking for..!

I am struck with an error. I have built gumstix-console-image and I need to test it with qemu. I carefully followed these instructions given here: http://wiki.gumstix.org/index.php?title=Gumstix_Emulation_for_QEMU  but when I run my Image(.img) qemu says "spl: error reading image u-boot.img, err - -1 ### ERROR ### Please RESET the board ###"

Any idea where I am doing wrong?
