FE - chemical symbol for Iron (http://www.webelements.com/iron/), (also Fire Extended Temperature, which is where I think it got the name "Iron"STORM). 

RE: 3703 -> DM3730 mismatch...  I think g-stix has just used 3703 as a code for all 37XX processors

I don't think you can determine the COM type with just the output of cpuinfo, since many of the key differences between the different lines of COM are in the components/periphs.
