Hi Greg,†

If you have a serial connection open during the boot sequence, then you should see something along the lines of:

Starting kernel ...
Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel.
Linux version 2.6.34 (daniel@oneway) (gcc version 4.3.3 (GCC) ) #1 Thu Mar 8 15:49:23 MST 2012

Is this the version you are looking for?

Hi all,

I have searched nabble for an answer to this question but have not found it.

Is there a way to tell what revision of Linux is used for a given prebuilt image? Iím talking about the images located here: http://cumulus.gumstix.org/images/angstrom/developer/ and here: http://cumulus.gumstix.org/images/angstrom/factory/

Thanks,

Greg
