I have a thumbo + fire + caspa setup using the images referenced at:

http://wiki.gumstix.org/index.php?title=Caspa_camera_boards

I'm connecting by wifi and running VNC to see the desktop. If I run the stock instructions:

gst-launch v4l2src ! xvimagesink

and run Cheese on the desktop I mostly get a blank window. It's clear something is happening because the cpu processing shoots way up (70%). I expect that because I'm running VNC I can't see the video window.

Other people have referenced network streaming (hopefully to VLC running on windows in my case) but I can't get any of the examples I've seen to work. Is there a simple network stream solution for caspa that works with the default caspa firmware?

Thanks
